Fall pageant. Mrs Pageant- Please let's have 45-69 or 70.A Mrs pageant should celebrate longevity in a marriage. So what if you are 21 and married 6 months.. That does not truly represent MRS. And everyone is cute at 18, 23... No bathing suits.Fitness is fine. We can be fit, but at that age, lets have some class.
Please educate the judges- Real women, yet beautiful, fit women. Age should not matter.Hopefully, we will all be there one day. Once accepted into a pageant, age should be left off the judges info.Let them judge us for who they really think we are and what we represent.
Whomever has a MRS pageant where a more mature woman wins,it will open the floodgates for entries.More entries, more monies= more exposure, success, publicity, viability for the pageant system.Does not take a Harvard school of business degree to figure that out. Good luck ladies and directors. Thanks.

[> Subject: Woman of Achievement has an "Elite" over 40 division! I just went to their CA state prelim and one of the judges (who has a column in Forbes) is doing a write up re: how competitive the Elite (40+) div was! It was almost impossible to tell who would win - all talented, had great platform work and interviewed extremely well! They also give out cash to the top platform winners. And, NO, they do not put your age in the program book! Thank God! Can't wait to see who is at Nationals!

The Director has a heart for over 40 crowd and has sought the opinions of many pageant participants from the women in other Mrs. pageants who may have had a few kids and prefer to be judged in aerobic wear instead of 2 -pc swimsuits! She also felt that platform work should be rewarded as queens who really make a difference will value the crown! And she does NOT believe in stating contestants ages to the crowd, the judges or the program books! It's about time we had something like this. www.womanofachievement.com
[> [> Subject: and do you know why they are so strong? They came up through the ranks when pageantry was at its finest. Most of them did MAO, since that's almost all there was, and they are very skilled at it. Most have true talent, know how to compete, and they are the ladies that really learned about true pageantry. They are older now, and they are tough competitors, but perhaps don't have the smoothest skin or the most toned legs - but this is the group pageants need to start considering more!

[> Subject: Completely disagree about leaving age out of contestant information. Unless the judging is done by decades, like Beauties of America. If a woman looks really amazing at 45. 50 or 55, she should be acknowledged for her hard work.
