Great victory!
Without second guessing the coaching, this has been a dilemma going into the 4th qtr with leads in many of this year's games.

The scenario has been created by the gate D taking teams out of their rhythm for 3 qtrs, while the O keeps the opponents' D on their toes mixing up the pass and run.

Planning to milk the clock with a lead going into the 4th qtr., Gate changes up to a run first mentality on the first two downs taking the O out of its rhythm. Even when Gate's running game has been good throughout the game, switching to a run only series makes the Gate O temporarily uni-dimensional.

This seems like a reasonable approach for a team with a good running game. I don't have an alternative. But, it's a trap that gate has consistently fallen into.

Don't know what the answer is to this 4th quarter angst but it sure makes for exciting games.

Last year these were the types of games that we found a way to lose. The fact that on a lot of occasions this year the defense found a way to make a play shows improvement. Hopefully the next step is a killet instinct to put these types of games away
