I have also heard (from Vicky) that the PL schedules the in league football games years out. (On a side note, some Fordham fans were mad this year that three teams had bye weeks before their games--felt like it was a conspiracy by the league against them.)

The current 2016 schedule currently has six away games and four home games with one game left to be filled. The PL scheduled three of Colgate's league home games for November.

Out of conference, Colgate is always going to have two home games and three away games (so it can play an FBS school).

Colgate has scheduled one of the two home games it can schedule at this point. It is on October first.

Colgate has one game left to schedule. Hopefully, it will be a home game against a quality opponent on September 10th (which is before the Ivies have started their season). At this point, that would seem like a hard thing to find.

But, if Colgate does pull that off, then, based on the constraints of the league, and Colgate's wanting to play an away game every year against an FBS team, and Colgate's wanting to play like-minded top-tier FCS schools, Colgate will have done a perfect job of scheduling.

Isn't it great to know that Colgate is one game away from 2016 scheduling perfection?!?!?!?!?!?!?

And that if Colgate doesn't pull it off, that the 2017 schedule is perfect?!?!?!?!

(EXCEPT FOR NO HOME GAMES IN NOVEMBER!!! WHERE ARE THE HOME GAMES IN NOVEMBER WHEN WE NEED HOME GAMES TO WIN THE LEAGUE?!?!?!?! FANS WILL FORGET ABOUT THIS TEAM IN 2018 IF THERE ARE NO HOME GAMES IN NOVEMBER OF 2017!!!!!!!)

Go 'gate!!! Go understanding that not everything in the world is perfect and sometimes people do the best with the hand they are dealt and that the people scheduling Colgate football are actually doing a pretty good job and I hope if you can't see that you hold yourself to the same standards in life even when not everything goes exactly your way!!!

Also, Beat UNH!!!

League games aren't the issue, they are always going to be home & home and having them in Hamilton late in the year is nice, it's all the OOC games on the road in Sept & Oct that really need to have more balance
