Subject: WOMEN'S ICE HOCKEY OFF TO A 3-0 START

Sporting a 3-0 record, WIH take on UConn in Storrs on Sunday afternoon.
The wins have been 5-3 and 6-0 against Robert Morris in Hammy and 6-2 against Providence in Rhode Island today. With only 3 Seniors on the roster, it will be interesting to see, when ECAC play begins against Union on Oct. 30th whether Greg Fargo in his 4th season is laying the foundation for better days ahead ?

With the exception of Sr. goalie Ashlnyne Rando, the strengthof this team is the hot shooting underclassmen. Excellent Freshman class!

Opens up ECAC play at home next weekend hosting Union and RPI.
It will be interesting to see how this team fares in ECAC play. Both Union and RPI should be winnable games. Neither is sporting a winning record from their pre-season schedules that are similar in relative strength to Gate's.

It's the teams with winning records to worry [more] about. They had almost 50 shots but gave up 4 goals on 11 shots yesterday against 1-6 Merrimack, but off to a winning start nonetheless.
