I can only imagine what they would charge if Duke's men's team came to Colgate.

I attend many 'gate MBB games. I am one of the aforementioned "curious" fans who would have attended this event had the ticket price been reasonable.....whatever reasonable is. $25 too high? I think so. But then why didn't the 'gate decision makers charge $30 or $35 or $40 per? They'd still pack the place with fans who want to see Geno and the No. 1 team. Obviously, I'm perplexed.

Nicci, the Athletic Dept, at Gate, et al can allocate a reasonable portion of the ( contrived $25 value ) tickets to deserving and potentially enduring pockets of need and support throughout Madison County. Gate and appear as real mensches https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mensch. If they were just giving away $5 or 10 ( also contrived value ), it wouldn't appear to mean as much ? They're still free to allocate an amonnt of full-sticker price tickets to the UCONN/Brianna minions traveling from 'Cuse and beyond. Gate and the Program is better off financially than they would have done otherwise, and achieved multiple objectives.

To my fellow 'Gate bro: You probably didn't take the same Eco class that I had at 'Gate. ( The takeaway from that class that I'll always remember
" Look British and think Yiddish!" )

I'm not sure that Hamilton and Madison county is quite as economically depressed as some of you think. It is probably a microcosm of a much larger area.
