The best FCS teams play one FBS team a year. If Colgate wants to play at the highest level of FCS, they need to play one of these games a year. Navy is a traditional rival i most sports and has great academics and prestige. It's exactly who Colgate should be playing.

Navy lost 43 straight to Notre Dame before beating them in 2007. Can't imagine those teams would have traded playing Notre Dame for a game they could win--decade after decade. Playing up has defined Colgate football and places that expect more out of their athletes (like Navy).

It may not feel like it but today's game is about Colgate getting better and the only game on the schedule where Colgate has absolutely nothing to lose.

FS:
Write a check to the athletic department covering what Navy just paid them, then maybe you act/sound like a 6 year old and someone will listen.
