The last time Colgate played UNH they were down 40-6 at the half.

D has given up almost 300 yards.

Colgate's play action is working.
Two biggest plays called back for holds sucks.
Fumbling on the 18 hurts.
Missed FG hurts.
Getting the ball to the UNH 20 three times with no points to show for it is tough to overcome.
Steffen out really hurts.

what hurts is moronic play-calling, no apparent QB on the team who can throw a football and a embarrassingly bad offense...s***-can the "read option" 'cause no talented QB who can really throw the ball is ever going to show up in Hamilton if we continue to run it...McCarney and Sullivan were exceptions and they were banged up during their careers...good night

defense decent...a few missed tackles, but better overall team speed and no quit...hope Stephan is OK...offense is simply bad, predictable play calling and a team that really can't throw the ball very well, especially deep...

I know this was a game the coaches expected to be tough and they wanted to keep the 1st string in there but what better opportunity to try out some other QBS. Melville was good his first year and last year when he came back but he has had two games to show he has matured and be even better and he has played poorly. 3 incompletions from the 12 to end the game...very disappointing...

It must be a Colgate tradition "Never, ever let another QB have a chance."

Have suggested another QB every time and get lambasted on here. Melville is mediocre at best which is ok if that's all you have. At halftime, even the Colgate announcers said he is not carrying the team the way a QB should. 'nuf said.

The score was our best against UNH in several tries. Either we are better or they are worse, take your pick. The outcome is still the same. Have not intentionally missed a home game in 16 years until tonight.

One would think with 2 games under our belt - one being FBS Navy - that we would have an advantage over Yale at Homecoming. Wouldn't bet on it.

Melville not good. Poor mechanics: throws off back foot and flushes easily from pocket. Inaccurate although #3 had three drops and TE dropped TD pass. Long way to go although PL appears weak.
