It was a really good game. Fordham was better than Army and left a bunch of points on the field. Their new QB looks very good--dropped ball on first play of the game and looked very good after that. Fordham should be the team to beat and there is certainly the natural comparison between Colgate losing to Navy and Fordham beating Army but Navy has beaten Army 13 years in a row. Aside from the fact that they are academies and arch rivals, the Army and Navy football programs are operating at very different levels. That being said, Fordham looks really solid-especially at QB and RB.

Other than being service academies, there is no natural comparison in terms of skill. Army just plain stinks and hasn't had a winning season since 2010. Last year they finished 4-8 and lost to Yale; 2013 they were 3-9, 2012 finished 2-12 and 3-9 in '11. Had Colgate played them instead of playing Navy, we would have fared better. Let's see how Bucknell does on Oct. 17 and hopefully make it a PL sweep. Edmonds has now added receiving to his resume and will give everyone in the PL even more fits this year. And he's only a sophomore, I think.
