Subject: Poll 9/15

Fordham the lone PL representative at #18, which seems a bit low. Beat Army, played Nova close, yet the Wildcats (also 1-1) are #6 with a close loss to UCONN.

In fact, the PL is obsolete in the poll through 56 teams...behind even Dartmouth, Bryant, the Citadel and Duquesne! Say it ain't so but my head is spinning in disbelief. FWIW our opponent for Saturday did not get any love, either.

Sagarin ratings have us at #206. Such traditional football powerhouses as Stony Brook (#151) and Sacred Heart (#167) are ahead of us. Interesting that Dartmouth (#174), Yale (#187), and Princeton (#203) are also ranked above us although all are 0-0 as of today. Fordham leads the way for PL teams at #149.

How low can a team go? I hope Hunt can make some meaningful changes to the game plan and personnel because the team isn't firing on any cylinder.
