Last year's preseason poll was a curse for the Raiders. Much rather be #20 and earn our way up the ladder, but don't quite understand how SLU (or possibly Yale) is above us given our trips to LP over the last 3-4 years and sweeping the (younger) Saints x3. Also need to beat some ranked teams. It always comes down to OOC games and the PWR, which IMO begins on DAY ONE. Can't imagine losing to Mercyhurst in the first weekend of play only to have it bite us in the end. Having 4 other ECAC teams ranked in the top 20 could really help us since we'll play them each twice.

Schedule doesn't seem to have long lapses between home games, which is great. Hope Pagliero can make an impact. Can't believe it's almost here!

You better look again about the breaks between games, maybe you're blind. Good win last night with underclassmen scoring.
