The decision for taking only 5 juniors was decided by IHRA. I'm not happy about it as many of you aren't. I have one racer in and one out, that plain stinks. This year's Team Finals is being held to a TOTAL of 50 cars, not the 2 teams we have seen in past years. From a money making standpoint, poor decision on IHRA's part, but from a logistics standpoint, they have to really hustle to get 600+ cars finished up in a timely manner.

As far as the Jr Team Finals, it is a blast and I would encourage all junior racers to attend. State Capitol puts on a heck of an event with Halloween theme, hayrides, spook house and more. This is a Southwest Junior Dragster Series final event and it will have all of the classes to run.

For changing run order, I have mentioned it on here, but never directly spoke to Ken or Molly about it. It really needs to be considered for next season. I think the junior car count has suffered because of the late finish.

For a place to race this weekend, travel a little and come to Sealy, TX for the Southwest Series race at Lonestar Motorsports Park. You will not be sorry. www.swjds.com
