Don't cast your pearls, before the swine,
Exhanging what is held divine,
For earthly pleasures,
Lonely needs,
To heal a heart,
That often bleeds.

Don't waste the love you hold within,
For merely pleasures of the skin,
To feel the touch,
To feel the heat,
For this will not,
Make you complete.

Don't advertise with enticing lures,
That you hold the "balm that cures",
To answer needs,
Within your soul,
For simple sex,
Won't make you whole.

Don't offer up the sacred part,
Just to possess someone's heart,
For this is not,
How it should be,
To ensnare them in,
Your sensuality.

Love is something more, my friend,
Than all the signals that you send,
It goes beyond,
This earthly plane,
And bathes you in,
It's gentle rain.

It can't be swayed or baited in,
It is not a "game" to lose or win,
It can't be sold,
It can't be bought,
It can't be found,
If it is sought.

Don't cast your pearls, before the swine,
Keep what is sacred and divine,
Held special for,
The one that's true,
The divinity,
Inside of you.
