Subject: Well that is certainly understandable, and maybe that is something the director might consider, and that is to have a Mrs. division, there are several pageants that forget about Ms all together and skip right into Mrs, my statement was truly just speaking about those of us who have not had the opportunity to be blessed in holy matrimony, at least I thought that's what we were talking about.

In reply to: happy to be a mrs. over 40 's message, "Except that married women 40+ don't want to be Ms. I'm proud of being over 40 and I'm proud of being married for 20+ years and don't want to be labeled Ms. I agree with the other posters that the "woman" on the end is odd. Of course I'm a woman, do I really need it added to a title? This pageant does sound fun, but the great thing is that there are are pageants for everyone and being labeled a Ms. Woman is just not for me." on 07:51:14 08/07/12 Tue

The Mrs. category ends at 39, thus the Ms. Woman for any woman 40 and up. Great concept and love that older women are included regardless of their marital status, but the age limit for married women is quite young. But then again, there are married women over 40 who freak out at the thought of competing against married women 21 and up so it's a toss up as to how to handle it. Either way, I think this pageant sounds great and I thank the Director for listening to everyone's opinions. We're all competitors, married or ms. over 40 or under and we all want a great event and title we can be proud to represent. I'm hoping to join the Universal family in 2013.
