1.) If fair is #1 to you, then don't put a 20 year old with a 40 year old. Do your divisions by age but don't put the age on the sash.
2.) Do a quick weekend pageant. Ladies don't want to spend more than a few days at a pageant.
3.) Entry fee needs to be reasonable. No mandatory ad sales or ticket requirements.

The director of American Beauty hit a home run and I honestly think her pageant will do very well in the future. It's 2 days long, multiple divisions, entry is not expensive, offering a cash prize, can compete in any other pageant..... the list goes on and on.
