I'm not one of them, but I get that they identify as the opposite sex. I've done a little gender bending myself, but it's not the same thing. I've always been female, and I want to stay that way. I have gone out in drag. I've put on severe three piece suits and trolled lesbian bars, acting like a man trying to pick up lesbian women. I've also tried it on straight women.
