Tew's laughter trails back to his pursuers, but that's the only audible thing about his movements that can be heard. The male's rich, vibrant gold pelt is an obvious catch, an aid to his followers in, well, following, as he ricochets from tree to tree. Claws retracted and longclaws pulled back so that their blunt overcurves brush his shins, blade not even turning so that a slip may be caught by the razor-sharp tip, the tan bounds along carelessly, leaves shuddering off their stems in his wake. For now he tests sheer speed, not doing any fancy maneuvers, just rocketing from tree trunk to branch to byrg nest and back again.
