The call for peace split the air, reaching even high into the treetops where they were fighting for life. Dasrek looked undecidedly down the back up at the tan femme who had stopped abruptly at the cry. They exchanged a look as the new Gerwyn slipped away like water through cracks at the end of battle. Gerwyn stepped deliberately off the thick branch, extending her claws to grasp a low branch and absorbed the shock of the fall into her lower limbs. She heard the foe moving down quickly, now studiously ignoring the other who had turned to the side of one of his mortally wounded breathren. The lean tan blinked slowly, watching her leaders, ready to do as they willed, though utter exhaustion crept through her veins.
