I am starting a new school next year in January. We have a commuter train that runs from our county into Nashville. The school has a shuttle that goes to the Nashville station. I want to ride the train. I also feel I can ride my bike to the train station on my end - they have a bike rack.

Me and my aunt and uncle argued about this today. They want to either drive me to the station or, preferably, drive me to the school. I really want to do the bike - train thing.

I got a silly idea and thought I would prove I could do it. I got on my bike and said I was going for a ride. I made it to the train station with no issues. I bought a round ticket and got on the train. My idea was to go to Nashville and take a few pics to prove I went and then go back home. I did not think about the fact I would be gone a while. I got a call on my cell. It was my uncle. They were worried. I told him I was on the train. He got real quiet and then asked if I was OK. I said I was fine. I was told to immediately get home as soon as the return train left Nashville. My uncle was waiting at the station when I got back.

He took me home and wore me out. I would say it was the worst I ever got. I am still a little sore.

It was bad and I did not think it through well but at least I proved I can do the bike - train thing.

I am still not sure if they will let me do it.

I was getting bored in my current school and it was causing me to not pay attention and act out a little.

My aunt is a teacher so she pulled me out and did homeschool with me on a higher level and I liked it.

So, she had me tested and I got some good scores so I get to go to a special school and the closest good one is in Nashville. It is not as far as it seems. We just live one county away.

I start in January. I am so excited!
