When more than one of us is going to get spanked, Dad goes up in ages, starting with the youngest first. Once, all of us (except Levi) got it. Dad said that was "not a good day." Oh, really? I (Levi) kept having to run out of the house! LOL!! And, it was cold outside.
You sure are fortunate no one came into the bathroom while your Dad was spanking! Daniel must have felt weird standing outside while you were in there- did he get it after you? Was it with a belt? (YIKES!!)
Michael, I wonder if my Dad knows yours? My dad also said a kid shouldn't misbehave on his birthday. I told him that sometimes stuff happens. He said that spankings happen to try to stop stuff from happening. Let's face it- we can't win!
When our Dad was a kid, he was with some kids who set a shack they were in on fire by accident; my Dad was 10 and didn't even know the other 2 kids were lighting matches or even had matches. But, he got spanked anyhow. The next day at school, his teacher (who knew about the fire and told him she was "deeply disappointed in him" He said it was horrible because everyone pretty much knew why he couldn't sit still. And- my Dad had a crush on this teacher- LOL!!!
We have a few of the Power Functions Sets, and we like the Technic Excavator- motorized it is cool! And we have motorized a lot of the Star Wars Sets. There are some very cool things we've dome with them! Some were off the web site, some were our own creations. We also have a lot of the Capsela toy sets (they are all motorized) and they are WAY COOL!! Dad thinks some of us will be engineers because we are so good with these toys. Who knows? It sounds like it could be fun to do for a living. My Dad has even taken me to lunch with some engineers and we talked about their work. It is pretty interesting!
Our Grandparents live in Florida and we go there a couple times a year. So we have been to Legoland, Cape Kennedy, and DisneyWorld/Epcot a lot! Yeah, Dude, they are all cool. Cape Kennedy is where the space missions were all sent from, and there is a building there that is so big that it had clouds form in it and it would rain! They had to put in a special air-conditioning system to stop that! You will love all those places! And, the ocean in Florida is warm as a bath that has cooled down from hot! (Even if you go in the winter.)
