I suppose this is as good a place as any to post some comments. I will write in more detail in a few days.

I have run every emotion known to man since Saturday evening. Right now I am at the numb stage. Mom is doing well. Bethany had a hard time but is doing better. Fortunately Mike and Matt are still a bit too young to totally understand what is going on. I am just sad that they and my future children will not get to know Dad as a wonderful grandfather.

I have a wonderful circle of friends here in my life. In fact, Dad's death has affected them as much as me.

Besides the friends I can physically see and touch, I have also realized I have a strong cyber community of friends. So many of you have reached out with words of kindness and comfort and I appreciate it.

Dad's funeral is this afternoon. I felt strongly that I should preach the eulogy. Dad was supportive of my desire to serve in a position of ministry and I also want to be the one to honor his memory. My goal is to make it through the service without bawling my head off.

Thanks again to all of you who have sent expressions of kindness, sympathy and support!

I am not sure when I will be back but I have not forgotten you all.

RAT,

I didnīt address you directly my condolences because I didnīt know if you would come to this Forum, so I asked PJ to do it for me.

I am very sorry for you great loss, and I although still have both parents, I can imagine how it is the loss of someone so close and dear to us.

Your dad was still a young man and I know you could have him for a long time, but it was GODīs will. You must always keep in mind the great moments you had with him, the great dad he was.

I still remember when you were mowing a lawn for an old woman and you broke something in her garden and she wanted to overprice it to make you pay. Your dad went there and fixed the things for you. In that ocasion you suspected your dad payed it and you were curious if he did. I told you to not to ask him but just imagine the good dad he was. I am sure he did his best to protect his son.

You and your family will be on my prayers.

GOD bless you.

CZ
