Hi Brooks. We are just doing workout and drills until next week. We can't put on pads or even helmets the first week. But it's been really tough already. our coach is a nice guy but man he works us hard! We lost 3 guys alrady who quit. I been pretty sore but I'm going to stick with it though. I love this!

When is your first game? Ours is like the first week of school i think. Talk to you later.

He Sean,

Our first game is August 24th, we open at home.

First few practices we will just be doing running, running, more running, conditioning and some drills. Our coach believes the best conditioned teams wins game. At first we will just wear our helmets and shouldr pads, nt all the pads.

We graduated 14 starters from last years team so lots of positions are up for grabs. I was a wide reciever.

Hi Brooks. We are doing just drills and workouts again this week but coach said we get our helmets this week. I got to workout at wide reciever today for awhile but coach put as a defensive back for awhile too. I think i like that too. I could get into htting some people! LOL! We got a small team so i might play both ways. That will be way cool!

Hi Sean,

Football practice started today. First we had a team meeting, coach says we lost a lot of seniors from last years team and now it is time for us younger kids to step up to the plate. We have a rebuilding year ahead of us and he expects a 110% all the time from us. We also reviewed the team rules and what coach expected from us.

After the meeting we got our gear and then changed into our practice cloth. We did some running, conditioning, stretching and exercises. We didn't practice all the long today, but tomorrow we will get down t business.

We have practice at 6:00 Am in th emorning until school starts and then we will practice after school.

Hi Brooks. Our coach is into conditioning too. We been doing a lot of workouts and drills. It's been tough but i't getting easier everyday. We got our helmets finally yesterday but we don't get our pads until next week.

We practice early in the morning too but we don't start until 7am. It's tough getting up that early in summer but my dad says if I want to be successful I got to do what it takes.

School starts for us in a couple of weeks so we will be practicing after school then. Our 1st game is Aug 30 after school. I can't wait.

Hi Sean,

Hope ur practice is going well and continues to get easier.

We have been doing drills, running plays and have been scrimmaging. Coach said I am the third wide receiver. These two seniors will be starting at wide receiver, but when we run plays with three reciever going deep, I am in the game. Also, I will be in the game when he wants to rest one of the starters, or if one is hurt, I get to start. I should get some decent playing time.

We got our game uniforms Friday, I am number 88 again. At my school, on game day, we wear our jerseys to school on game day. For home games, we wear our home jersey and for away games, we wear our visiting team jersey.

Hi Brooks. Practice is going good. I've been playing mostly db with some time at wr. We don't have anyone who can throw very good so we will be running the ball mostly. I've been working out at halfback too. I like playing defense though.

We play our first game Aug 30. We get our jerseys then but we can't wear them during school. That would be cool if we could. I want to be number 2. I always liked that number.

Both team splayed kind of bad and made mistakes. But a win is a win. I had 7 receptions for a 145 yers and no TDs. This Friday we are on the road. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
