. . .you have successfully skipped fourth period and have sneaked off to burger King in your car and you find yourself standing in line behind your principal.

He is really and truly a nice guy and I have known him for a couple of years as he used to pastor a church I went to.

He invited me to sit with him and have lunch. Despite the elephant in the room, we had a nice lunch and a good conversation. He asked how I was getting along and seemed genuinely interested in me.

As we were leaving he simply said, "I guess you know I need to see you in my office when you get back on campus."

I just said, "Yes, sir, I'll be right there."

Six licks later I thought that perhaps skipping class and leaving campus for lunch was not as good an idea as I thought.

Mommy Karen just finished me up at home - I got ten more at home. I had forgotten how badly her spankings hurt. Also, I can't drive to school for the rest of the month - her punishment not the school's.

It all gave a new meaning to "Whopper!"

Hi Mark. I'm sorry but that is too funny! That's one of those "oh crap" moments. LOL! Sounds like you got a cool principal. I don't want to think about how my princpal would say if I did that. My school don't spank but she would definetly send a note home to my parents and one of them would definitly give me one.

Sounds like you took it like a man though. Sucks you can't drive for awhile. Next time try Mcdonalds. They don't have Whoppers! :)

I'm sorry, but I laughed. I can just imagine the whole awkward atmosphere.

So how did he notice you? Did he just turn around or did he hear you speak? Or were you like trying to hide yourself and the other customers were angry?

I don't think my principal would be that cool with it. It all depends on his mood. He can be really angry when he wants to.
