We finally got to play our first game but we lost 28-12. We made way too many mistakes and coach thought we should have beat this team. we got our next game next Wednesday so I really hope we play better.

I play mostly at db and did ok, I recovered a fumble and made a few tackles. i played some wr and caught 1 pass for about 6 yards. i didn't play in the first quarter because i got in trouble yesterday at school so coach benched me as punishment. I'll tell more about that in another post.

Too bad.

Our team lost 14 - 0 last night. That loud sucking sound you heard was our team!

Sorry about both of your teams' losses. If you guys can't find a way to somehow improve during the season; it'll be an awful long time until the end of the season! I bet it is hard to be on a bad team for your school, even though you'll improve in future years.

I think we got a better team than the way we played last week. we just got to play better. The team we play next Wednesday isn't too good so we should win that one.

Our parents were at the game too. Mom was a mass of nerves. She is so afraid Sean is going to get hurt. He made some nice tackles but she really freaked out when he caught a pass & got tackled. I thought she was going to faint!

But after the game she went up to Sean & gave him a big hug in front of just about everyone. He was so embarrassed! I notice he didn't mention that in his post.

Hey Sean. Sorry you lost the first game. Cool that you caught a pass and earned some yds. It was probably cool to be playing anyway. Hope your next game goes better dude.
