Benji, it's helpful reading your posting that "I know it seems weird but the spanking seems to help me get over my icky feelings and helps me be happy again" because those exactly were my feelings as a teenager following my lickings. As a father of two sons, 8 and 12 years old, I'm attempting to impress upon my boys that a spanking can be not only an effective way to be punished for disobedience, but also a way to feel good about yourself once the discipline has been received. For me a licking was a way to clear the air, receive the punishment that I had earned, then turn over a new page in life so as to begin again. Actually there is nothing weird whatsoever about your feelings. They are psychologically quite positive and a true asset. Thanks for sharing one of the positive aspects of a spanking.
