Max,

Good morning!

I am really enjoying school. I had some issues with Trigonometry and ended up dropping the class but all else is good. Mom and Dad felt I had a lot going and I am still dealing with some health issues and so they did not let me run for Class President. Julie did and she won so that is good. I can't play football because of my health but I am going to be team manager. Mom took a leave from teaching as she is pregnant. She has decided to work on her PhD.

I know you know I lost a kidney but I have had three operations since. I got appendicitis like you did and I also had to have some scar tissue from the kidney removal cleaned up twice. I have also had three kidney stone attacks. At the start of summer, I was working at a pig farm and I caught something called Disseminated Hystoplasmosis. I had to quit the pig farm job. The Hystoplasmosis is all gone. Max, we had a real bad scare too. There was an error at the lab on one of my blood tests and the doctors said I had leukemia - yes, cancer. I was told I might die. I DO NOT HAVE IT, it was an error. We were all so scared for a while.

I have a dog now! We still have Boris but I got my own dog. He is a dachsund/beagle mix named Chester. We needed more room so Dad made an addition to the house so me and Mark got a new room. It is kind of like an efficiency apartment. Mark has a cat and I wanted a dog to be in our new room. Since Benji has moved back we have Magic too. Boris, Magic and Chester all get along. How is Samson?

I will ask my new friend Corey to come say hi to you. It may be the weekend because he is not allowed much screen time during the school week.
