• He had tried his hardest to stay out of trouble over the last few days, but it hadn't worked too well and he had yet another ugly bruise on his face where he had been backhanded by an irritated guard. • He'd been using up all his phone time calling Cass almost every night, but had refused to let her visit him that week - a little tiff between him and another inmate had resulted in him getting roughed up by the guards and isolated for a bit. He was trying hard to stay out of trouble, but for someone who was used to always being in control, it was hard.
