Subject: NATIONAL MODELING COMPETITION Author: CHRISSY STEED [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 20:26:31 12/10/05 Sat Images Production Team National Creative Modeling Competition Images Production Team National Creative Modeling Competition was founded as a creative outlet so that youth nationwide can compete in friendly competition, build self-esteem, meet friends and showcase their talents in front of industry professionals. You are invited to compete in the State Competition in order to qualify for the National Competition. If you should win your age division you will be automatically entered into the National Competition to be held in July at The Hilton Tower in New Jersey. Each contestant will need to supply 2 competition garments. The first segment your child will be judged on is "Creative Fashion." It is important to have fun with this segment. Creativity will be a major factor in the scoring for this segment. The second segment of competition is "Formal Elegance." Females can wear any style dress (ex. a ball gown, an A-line dress, a straight dress, etc). Males should wear a suit. Choose colors and garments that best reflect your child. Pageant Scoring: Judging is based 50% on Segment 1 "Creative Fashion" and 50% on Segment 2 "Formal Elegance." There will be one winner and three runner-ups per age division, per state. Divisions Age Princess 5-8 years old Prince 5-10 years old Preteen (Female) 9-12 years old Teen (Female) 13-17 years old Low Sponsorship Fee EVERYONE WALKS AWAY WITH A TROPHY!!!!!! Lots of fun and friends!!!! ENTER TODAY!!!! Prizes: State Level: Each winner will receive an official state sash, trophy, tiara (females only), cash prize (amount depends on number of contestants in each category), entry fee's paid for the national competition, up to $200 travel expense reimbursement, and (2) 1-day passes to Medieval Times Tournament/ Dinner (1 parent/guardian must be present)during the national weekend. Runner-ups will receive a trophy and a cash prize. Everyone will receive a participation trophy, and an official t-shirt. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY!!!
