 There are forces at work within the clans that would keep outsiders at bay for the most part. Granted, an outsider in our society is akin to visiting kings, but if something is going on.... I don't want to risk your safety, basically.

...I know Khanyal went out of his way to make sure that I didn't get home right now, but I think he's risking his own safety for mine and his is more important.
