You recognized 'Pyralis' when she got to it, as she had used it before in battle. You also recognized Aesir, the little Faerie Dragon that she had used to create a barrier of silence in the upper levels of the temple in Kirin. She continued to sift through the large deck, until she found one that she thought to be fitting. The decorative aspects of the card were all blue and gold in color, and the image was of what appeared to be a mermaid, with the upper body of a drow. Her entire body wasw black, excluding her hair and eyes- which were both pale green. The name at the bottom of the card read 'Lie'Nia.' She handed the card to Cye.*~+~

Lie'Nia is the old word for Mermaid. I forget her real name, but she was originally a Blue Spirit when she was sealed into the card. She chose that form as her physical manifestation because she had always liked visiting the sea, and the form of a Blue Spirit on the surface of the card would have drawn her kin to her after she was sealed. OK, to see if she'll join with you, this is what you do....

Place the tips of your fingers over the name, and speak it mentally with your eyes closed. It works best if your mind is clear and you feel at peace. After you speak the name in your head, open your eyes- and you'll see one of two things. You'll either see a white light, or your vision will waver slightly. If you see a white light, it means that they have rejected you. If your vision wavers, it means that they are now in your mind. If you see nothing different, it means that you did something incorrectly- in which case, you can try again.
