~*~*all of the Eyerlings stood beside the door, glancing outside through nearby windows. you turned back to Treyvan in time to see one of his hands start to glow as he whipped it through the air. a blade of bright blue energy lashed out across the room, landing squarely on Fire Song. time seemed to freeze for a moment, as you watched Fire Song fall, and his breath cease. you had never seen Treyvan intentionally kill somebody before- much less somebody who he had been friends with. Aya and Vree both screached in panic before they too fell to the darkness. Treyvan tossed four shards of something to the ground next to the bodies, but you knew better than to touch any of them. Treyvan moved over to the door, standing beside the Eyerlings, all of them acting as though nothing had happened. you were not quite sure what to say to them after that- you certainly didn't trust Treyvan anymore. you glanced out one of the windows and noted that the army was organized, but not moving. Star Dust and Silver Bolt were approaching the bar alone, forcing all of the Eyerlings and treyvan to step back as they entered through the larger door in the side- and still barely fit through. both gryphons moved quite a few tables out of the way, and sat down in the empty floor space.*~*~

Star Dust- let me first say to the inhabitants of this world that we apologize for this. it is not you that we have come for.

~*~*they both turned to Treyvan, who was standing in front of the Eyerlings.*~*~

Silver Bolt- Treyvan of the Guardians; we are tired of chasing you and your underlings. we know that you are not willing to run from a direct confrontation; which leaves the only other option as a battle.

Star Dust- we have gathered with us every Black Spirit, every White Spirit, and every Spirit Guardian willing to help assist us in your capture. they stand not only before you on the plains, but their ranks fall all the way back to the Skull Stone of Ba'aj. we are giving you this chance to give up peacefully.

Silver Bolt- we know of your lack of a desire to fight, that is why we offer you this option. you will not fight us, and your Eyerlings could not possibly take on that many Spirits alone. refusing to come with us is signing a death warrant for everybody in this bar, as well as this planet. do we make ourselves clear?

~*~*you glanced at Treyvan, who still showed no emotion in his face.*~*~

Morgan- ....you know what the right thing to do it, Treyvan.

Treyvan- indeed i do. so our answer is no.

~*~*the Eyerlings smiled slightly in response to that, but you were mortified.*~*~

Star Dust- then you condemn this world to death!

Treyvan- i think not. good day to you, spirits.

~*~*Star Dust and Silver Bolt both left the way they had come in, with no other words said. you watched them return to their army, and then the entire mass began to move forward. you were slightly surprised to see Ruyan among the front ranks- but then you had forgotten that he was little more than a slave to the spirit world, no matter how he had tried to make it sound better in the past. they were moving somewhat slowly- as though giving you a chance to change Treyvan's mind. you could not help but glance at the three bodies laying off to one side, and shudder.*~*~
