.....the Spirits took pitty on me, though, because it really wasnt my fault that i had been created in such a manor. the people that i protect, Vincent and Kyle, both possess keys to the Gate a few miles from here. they used them to cleanse my soul, so to speak. because of that i chose to reincarnate as their guardian.
