they can not respond while the barrier still stands.... nothing can enter, nothing can leave....
*she leaned baack onto her hind legs, and a golden circle appeared below her as a pillar of light descended around her. when it cleared, the Goddess of Time stood in its wake. her long white gown, long golden wings and hair, and her multiple white ribbons had not changed any. however, her eyes were still bright red, and the formerly pink charm bearing the heart mark had clouded over in gray. she stepped out into the center of the battle field, and looked up. she raided one hand to the sky, and a glowing blue bow appeared on her finger tip. it had no string to speak of. in her other hand appeared a glowing yellow/golden arrow. she knocked it to her bow, and pulled it back on the non existant string. she released it, still facing upward, as the arrow flew through the air. she chose her spell wisely. she called it as the arrow neared its target.*

*the arrow turned black, as a gray shroud began to trail it. it passed through the phoenix creature without slowing or harming it, then impacted at the central point on the barrier. the attack simply fizzled out upon contact.*
nothing gets in, nothing gets out.... you must finish the battles you bind yourself to before you can deal with other matters.
*the young goddess took a seat, and did nothing more.*
