Yipppeee! FedEx just called to say my parcel from BavAuto has arrived! I ordered a full head gasket set to see if I can put a stop to all the oil leaks from my engine.

I've been putting this off for far too long. It's just that every time I look under the hood, to try to estimate how long this job might take me, I never get past the sight of those rusty nuts and studs holding the exhaust manifold on. All my spider senses start tingling when I see those. They give me baaaaaad feelings. So I ordered up a full set of new studs and nuts for those, fully expecting all the old ones to break off when I touch them. I'm thinking it might be smarter to go someplace like Speedy Muffler and have them pull out the old studs for me, before I even try touching them.

Gonna run out to the FedEx depot now and maybe stop at Speedy Muffler after that...
