I don't know about model years, but the standard (non-metallic) colors available on the E30 were Alpine White, Black, Brilliant Red, Cinnabar Red, Gazelle Beige, Henna Red, Lapis Blue, Savanna Beige, and Safari Beige. Metallic colors, which were an option, were Agate Green, Arctic Blue, Baltic Blue, Bahama Beige, Bronzit Beige, Burgundy Red, Calypso Red, Cosmos Blue, Delphin Gray, Diamond Black, Glacier Blue, Granite Silver, Kashmir Beige, Lagoon Green, Mauritius Blue, Opal Green, Salmon Silver, Sapphire Blue, and Sterling Silver.

The door panels were available in Black, Pearl Beige, Natur, Cardinal Red, Pacific Blue, and gray (don't know the proper name). Later M-Technic models were also available in white.
