Like most here, I am glad to hear that you are okay. Unfortunately it seems every time you go on vacation, catastrophe strikes. Everyone understands the predicament you are in and we all want the group to survive. There are several forums up already filling in the Gaps. My question to you would be how we could fairly (ie, you being compensated in some fashion) get the archives of the Tech Section, the BMW E30 registry and my personal fav, the Skip archives, up and running again.
My drunken thought was (hey it's the fourth here, even Baste separtists celebrate here!)perhaps you could host a shell of sorts, with the outlining of the site and your fantastic design while others help with the storage of pics, articles and forums.

I am sure in the long run we will find an equitable solution, we are a resourceful group. I just was wondering how we can help YOU for a change in the interim.

I would me more than happy to post your payal account on my lil half assed site for donations with a note explaining the situation and your financial problems as well as the gratitute we all owe your for a great 7 years.

You have been wonderful, and it still amazes me that you did it so long.
