first, even though your ignition replaceables are relatively new, check their condition, particularly the cleanliness of the rotor and cap. i had some tarnish and general carbon/corrosion buildup on the terminals, my rotor and cap are only a few months old, and my cold starts improved a bit after cleaning it off.

Also, run a test on your cold start valve. Haynes actually explains how to do this rather well if you have that manual. I don't have a Bentley but I'm sure that manual tells how as well. Your cold start valve should operate when the engine is trying to start while cooler than 86 degrees F (according to Haynes). If working properly, when you crank the starter, the valve should spray a consistent cone pattern of fuel for a few seconds then shut off. If not, either the valve is shot or voltage is not getting to it, in which case you should check the thermo-time switch. Haynes also explains how to do this, and links the two together. Hope it helps!
