Subject: OK need some help

Its time to do my brakes. The Pads should be oK, but I have been told my discs are worn (don't know how they worked that out, as they didn't take the wheels off on the MOT)

My handbrake also no longer works, my car rolled down the hill when I parked it the other day.

What Discs should I get and how do I sort the Handbrake out ? Remember, I'm short of cash, which is why I have left it for sooooo long.
