eric, about the white gauges with blue needles, i don't know who had the idea first, but you did get them on your E30 before i got them on mine. but i did have the idea before i saw the pics of your car.

my mtech 2 s/w is nice. i love it. but i am looking for a better one. here is why. here is the scoop on the mtech 2 wheel. there are 3 versions available. only 2 fit the E30. the other version is for the E36, and doesn't fit at all. but the 2 which fit the E30 are different sizes. there is a 385mm wheel, and a 370mm version. for the E30, the 370mm version is the desireable one. because my E30 stock sport steering wheel is 385mm. so going to the 370mm mtech 2 wheel is a performance upgrade. but it will block the gauge cluster a little bit. this version comes in black leather, and suede. the mtech 2 steering wheel in 385mm size is supposed to be for the E34. because the stock E34 s/w size is bigger than 385mm, so getting this wheel is a performance upgrade for the E34, and putting the E30 370mm mtech 2 wheel into the E34 is even better! the mtech 2 wheel i have in my E30 is from an E34. so it is 385mm, my stock size. i get all the good looking qualities from it, but i don't get the smaller 370mm size performance gain. :( so i am looking for the 370mm mtech 2 wheel, and if/when i get one, i will sell this one. so that is the info on the infamous mtech 2 steering wheel. oh, btw, all the steering wheels from the following models are interchangeable. E30, E28, E34, E24 (6 series), and possibly the E23 (7 series).
