Subject: Any tips on replacing e-brake grip?

... scored a leather one w/matching boot on eBay and will be installing it this weekend. It appears to be a pretty straightforward job, but I'm wondering if anyone else who's put in a new grip might have some tips on making the job easier and less time consuming (I have a lot to do this weekend). Any input appreciated. TIA

As a side note, I've already got a black leather e-brake boot I won't need after I install the new set. Perfect shape; $20 incl. shipping anywhere to the U.S. (cashier's check or money order only). E-mail me if interested.
