Subject: Anyone familar w/ dash adjustable headlights?

I have a set of euro headlights that allow you to adjust the height of the headlights from the lower left side of the dash, just under the headlight switch. I have the whole system, but I have a couple questions. When I removed the system from the car, I had to cut the small hydaulic lines. I was able to cut them close to the adjuster knob so I have enough tubing to reinstall in another car.

My questions are: what is the hydraulic fluid? It tasted sweet, it accidently splatter in my face, I was not trying to drink it. Once I find out what the fluid is, how do I refill it and bleed the system?

Thanks,
Rob Patterson
