It`s an American thing 8-). And also, why choose all big towns in the USA, where Lukas already lives - ewwwwwwwww. Wouldn`t homes in far away places be more appealing.Oh I forgot, American`s think the world is the USA. OKay I`m just kidding with that so no flames, but isn`t it supposed to be a fact that a lot of American`s don`t really recognise the world outside of their country and therefore dont care? My previous boss (American boss) told me how U.S newspapers mostly only have news that concerns them (American news) and that doesn`t help so it isn`t their fault if they do think this way.

Here in the UK there are a few of jokes floating around based on that actually. And I remember a few months ago when I had some American visitors over I told them a joke based on it and they didn`t find it amusing at all and said it simply wasn`t true - ooops. I knew it was asking for trouble telling them the joke but I wanted to see their response (I`ve always been a gutsy person). But what I later found funny was when the topic of discussion moved to "what would your ideal job be & what ultimate goal have you got" and one of them said "I really want to help the world, improve the world in which we live especially for those less fortunate". So I said "so what would you do?". After a few moments thought she said came up with some interesting ideas but the funny part was..........everything she said was about helping people in North America - no other country mentioned!. Hilarious at the time!
