Subject: Will the latch not work properly to unhinge or......
In reply to: Michael 's message, "e30 glove box stuck" on 01:51:24 06/23/02 Sun

does the latch work fine, but the compartment is stuck???

If the latch is malfunctioning, try putting your key in and while it is in the locked position open the latch, then put the key in the unlock position and try opening the latch....I can't remember which way opened mine when my latch mechanism broke, but one of the ways got it open so I could replace the latch.

You do have to toy with it for awhile but it'll open eventually!

Good Luck
