The 284/276 will perfectly fit with the std. gear.
They are made really accurate, first I have dailed in the shafts to the recommended full lift (106 deg)and TDC lift figures, after that the std. gear just bolts directly on without any mod.
But always check your timing figures and valve to piston clearance at TDC!!

For fuel and ignition adjustment we fit a sort of piggy back ecu which can be fully programmed with a laptop.
Cheaper then having to switch an eprom for every mod you make.
