come to think of it, although 12 T1's would be nice, there would still be tons upon tons upon tons of bandwidth left. one T1 as toby suggested would surely be very sufficient, as when I was in high school, I became aware of the fact that the entire district's internet access was drawing off of a single T1 line. All staff, all students, and on average we all got speeds faster than a 56k. That's thousands of hosts, consistently accessing it simultaneously. that district has at least 14 schools, 3 of which are high schools, which will have more hosts than probably any of the elementary schools, perhaps even all 9, wait, 10 (forgot there's a new one) put together.

However, we could make use of two of those T1 lines, one for the regular site, tech articles, the forums, all that, and the other specifically for posting media to (all the little mpg's, avi's, and wav's we love to link to on here. =>). Glad to see that so many of us are willing to stick to this and keep it going...
