Above the glove box, protected by a plastic cover, lies the L-Jetronics brain, the ECU (or ICU, if you preffer this name). Next to it, it may also be possible to find the Idle Control Unit, depending on car's variant. The engine to ECU connector is a long rectangular one (resembling the Euroscart connectors, from the TV sets). It has a clip on its side, for disconnecting. Getting a little philips head screw out and taking the plastic connector cover out reveals the wires-to-pin joints, so you only have to identify the wire colours at the TPS end with those at the ECU connector end, and make the ohmmeter (or even buzzer) check while maneuvering the throttle pedal. There are 3 wires, as the switch is in fact two switches put together, with one common terminal. Note that only the Idle switch clicks, the WOT one is silent, which trapped me into believing my TPS is screwed, and from here the inherent dismantling little pains.

If you need more informations about pin descriptions look for the Haynes manual online, some russian site had it downloadable together with precious wiring diagrams.
