Well... yes, you are correct concerning your definition of a cult, but your definition of the occult is very disallusioning. The number 1 definition of occult is as follows:

"1. Of or pertaining to various magical arts and practices, as astrology, alechemy, etc."

My message board would definitely not qualify as occult by the above definition. The definition continues:

"2. Beyond human underdstanding; mysterious"

This also does not describe my message board. The definition continues:

"3. Not divulged or discolosed, secret."

This DOES describe the new message board, but it contains nothing about the occult having to be concerned with religion. By the above definition (which is seldom used as the meaning of "occult"), any private club or establishment is occult. In theological dictionaries, only the first definition is listed. Hence, on all accounts, my new message board is not occult by definition (unless, of course, you take the third definition as your own).
