The colt turns his head with struggle, a look of hope 'pon his face. A mare, yet she had chosen another. Fighting back tears, he lays his head down again. He should have known. Rejected because of his name. It sounded dark, yet when you really listened, it was a good name for one pure of heart. He shakes his head sadly. Hypocrites. They wanted everyone to believe they accepted anyone who had chosen the path of light; but they didn't. They wouldn't accept him. The will to live begins to drain from him, as does his life. He is still concious, yet fading quickly. He should have known they'd be just like the others. Silent tears trail down his face, weakness overcoming him; yet this time he does not fight it away...
