Subject: Waits

She comes and stands proudly, head held high, even though she was on the brink of exhaustion. Her eyes were calm pools of ever going depths, they held wisdom above her age. She did not whine or cry pitafully (sp?), if someone wanted her they could come and find her. The sun rays hit her golden back, warming her down to her four white socks. Her ears were perked forward, waiting but every once in a while flicked back to make sure she was not in any danger. A rare smile came apon her melencholy lips as she stared off into the horizon, waiting, ever waiting with her ever lasting patience
