The foal easily heard her call, but the months of abuse had built a barrier of untrust around his heart.He stared at her through the trees, melencholy showed in his dark orbs, a frown turned his lips down. He sighed, he couldnt live here for ever. Perhaps ill go with her, but it dosent mean I have to love her, he thought to himself, little did he know that he was lying to himself. He took confiden steps forward out into the sunlight, his spindly legs struck out in proud steps showing a bit of arrogance, the sun hit him in a wave of warmth and he welcomed it, losing his frown for a second. He did not hurry up to her but bided his time. His coat was one crafted by the gods, it was the sun it was fire. His golden palomino coat shown in the midday sun, his creamy short mane ruffled with the wind.
