Seeing the young filly at her side, she smiled. Looking her over, she spotted the rwo gashes on her flank, and immediately forgot all thoughts save that of this little one. Nuzzling her gently, she smiled, and spoke softly. ~~HEllo little one. What happened to you?~~ Her voice was calm, soothing, yet concern lay in anundertone, hopefully undectable by the young ones.
